Coaches Clinics / Registration

Development 1 clinics are open for registration and are hosted throughout June, July and August. GTHL coaches that require it, must attend a GTHL hosted Development 1 clinic. To find and register for a Development 1 Clinic through the GTHL, CLICK HERE. Be sure to change the filter to the 2023-2024 season, to see available clinics. There is a prerequisite to the Development 1 clinic, which is the HU Online Checking course which must be completed before registering for the Development 1 clinic.

As a reminder, all REP teams require a certified Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Trainer for a team to be approved. All House League and Select teams require at minimum a Head Coach and Trainer.

The GTHL will also be hosting three Instructional Stream clinics this summer; Skating 1, Developing Defencemen 1 and Goaltending 1. Each clinic is worth 5 professional development points that can go towards coaches maintenance of their certification.

Please note, an update on when Coach Level 1 and Coach Level 2 clinics will take place, will be shared next month. As well, more information on the Concussion training will be shared at a later time.
